A Legacy of Resilience: The Inspiring Journey of Our Family’s Lightweight Gold Jewellery Business
Our family’s story began with Late Mr. Choudhry Gaddumal Ji Swarnakar, a visionary goldsmith who laid the foundation of our legacy in the small village of Ahamad Nagar (Banboi), Bulandshahr District, Uttar Pradesh. In 1932, he relocated his family to Hapur (Meerut), where his craftsmanship and dedication to excellence set the stage for a thriving future.
A New Generation of Visionaries
Choudhry Gaddumal’s son, Mr. Murarilal Verma, inherited not only his father’s exceptional skills but also his passion for innovation. Determined to elevate the family business, he introduced a new type of lightweight 24-karat gold jewelry during the challenging period of the 1968 Gold Control Act. This jewelry, known as Bandhel Jewellery or Gold Foil Jewellery, combined the elegance of pure gold with the practicality of reduced weight, making it more accessible and affordable.
Expansion and Evolution
After Murarilal Ji, his elder son Mr. Amarnath Verma carried the business forward under the new name Murarilal Amarnath Swarnkar. By 1993, the business reached new heights with the establishment of M/S Trimurti Jewellers, which thrived during the peak era of Bandhel Jewellery and lightweight 24-karat gold jewelry.
As the family’s influence in the industry grew, Mr. Rajeev Kumar Verma, the elder son of Amarnath Verma, expanded the business further by founding Midas Bandhel Ornaments Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This firm introduced a new wave of lightweight 24-karat gold jewelry, establishing a strong presence in the country’s commercial capital.
A New Era of Excellence
Continuing this legacy, Mr. Hardik Verma, the son of Rajeev Kumar Verma, brought fresh energy and innovation to the business. He launched Midas Gold Covering Mumbai and Trimurti Exports India, focusing on gold plating and manufacturing lightweight gold jewelry.
A graduate with specialization in gold jewelry manufacturing and gold plating from IIGJ Andheri, Mumbai, Hardik Verma has modernized the family business. His companies are certified by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, and have received ISO 9001:2015 certification. They also hold an Export-Import (EXIM) License, enabling them to serve both domestic and international markets.
Hardik operates across Hapur, Meerut, Delhi, and Mumbai, providing a wide range of lightweight gold jewelry, including Bandhel Jewellery, Gold Foil Jewellery, Gold Patra Jewellery, and Bronze Jewellery, known by various names across different states.
